GLOW, Eindhoven’s free light art festival, runs every evening until Saturday 14 November. In Eindhoven, about 30 artworks line a walking route of around 5 kilometres through the city centre, lit from 18:30 to 23:00, according to the festival’s practical information.

What Connect means

This year’s theme is Connect. On their Dutch-language theme page, the organisers describe it as the moment when something pulses, and call it an origin, a zero point, a click or a clash. GLOW, they add, is something they make together.

Beyond the city centre

Best, Oirschot, Veldhoven, Lieshout and Helmond take part as well, with their artworks lit from 18:30 to 22:00. Walking the route is free. A drone show at the Philips Stadium needs a ticket, which costs €2 in advance.

Before you go

The festival’s website has an English section with the route and the practical details. Plans can change, so check it on the day you go.

GLOW is in our events calendar, with more dates for the coming weeks, from IDFA in Amsterdam to the arrival of Sinterklaas.
