Het Nederlands IJsbeelden Festival, the Dutch ice sculpture festival, runs from Saturday 12 December 2026 to Sunday 7 March 2027 at Flevo Nice in Biddinghuizen. International ice artists use hundreds of thousands of kilos of ice and snow to create the sculptures, shown in an ice hall kept at about minus 10 degrees.
Opening days and hours
The official festival site says the festival is open Tuesday to Sunday. During the Christmas holiday it opens every day except New Year’s Day, including Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Regular hours are 10:00 to 17:00, and Christmas holiday hours are 09:30 to 17:30.
