Redhead Days brings thousands of redheads from around the world to Tilburg from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August 2026. The organiser describes it as the oldest, largest and most spectacular redhead festival in the world, drawing visitors from more than 80 countries. Nearly all activities are free.
Most of the programme takes place in the Spoorpark in Tilburg. The centrepiece is the group photo of natural redheads on Sunday 30 August at 13:00. Each year has an official colour that natural redheads wear for the photo; for 2026 it is burgundy.
Why it matters
Tilburg’s redhead weekend is one of the more unusual entries on the Dutch festival calendar: an international gathering built around a single shared trait, photographed together once a year. For English-speaking residents it is also one of the most international small festivals in the country, by the organiser’s own account of its visiting nationalities.
Programme
- Friday 28 August: kick-off party at 20:00, location still to be announced

- Sunday 30 August: programme in the Spoorpark from 11:00 to 17:00, with the group photo at 13:00, then the country photo and a fashion show of upcycled creations from 14:15 to 15:15
Practical information
The main part of the programme is in the Spoorpark in Tilburg, with Spoorpark 2 as the navigation address. The organiser says parking around the park is limited and advises coming by train; the walk from the station takes about 15 minutes. Nearly all activities are free, per the organiser; a few ticketed events are sold online through redheaddays.nl. One location is still open: the organiser lists the venue for the Friday kick-off party at 20:00 as to be announced.
